Gas Pump

I started working on the gas pump yesterday and attempted to finish it today, but I ran into a problem with the hose for the gas pump. As you can see, I tried making a NURB curve to create the hose, but for some weird reason I got a really crazy shape, so I decided to stop there. Below is the picture of the reference I used and the gas pump I started modeling.
